Compost Tea Video Tutorial

My good friend Mark sent me this excellent video of his sister-in-law Gail brewing up a nice batch of compost tea. Instead of keeping a giant pile of rotting compost, she uses our Ancient Forest and Floralicious Plus and a few other select ingredients. Her instructions are simple, and her results are amazing- tomato plants to die for.

I’ve tried various plant food concoctions over the years, but this is a new one…an intriguing one that I am going to try this on my tomatoes and peppers this year, excited to see the results. Gail you look adorable!

She uses 80 ML’s of F.L plus? it says on the back of the bottle to use at 1 teaspoon per 5 gallons??

Is using that much only ok because she was making tea as apposed to using it with a normal nutrient feeding schedule

Casey, that is correct. She is making a high-powered, concentrated solution in a large quantity. You wouldn’t put that entire bucket of solution on one plant but would spread it out over several crops. Thanks for the question!
