Grow Strawberries!
Urban Garden Magazine posted a great article about growing strawberries yesterday. I love strawberries! GH grows their berries outdoors, and one year I picked ripe berries from March until December. In fact, the photo above is my GH strawberry harvest from December 5th, 2007.

Just moved some of my runners growing in my pea gravel to my hydroponic grow box. So far they seem happy in there with the basil.

I love hydro strawberries. Quinalt strawberries from seed will do hydroton, but more picky varieties like Ft. Laramie require less “grit” on the roots and require coco coir. Transition sensitivity is a crazy thing, although I absolutely love hydro strawberries.
