The Banana In the Greenhouse is Blooming
This banana flower is so cool. Bananas are tropicals, obivously, and this one is thriving in the hot greenhouse.

I’m not sure. I’ve always thought it was an ornamental, but doesn’t it look like little bananas are growing under the yellow wilted parts? I’ll ask the greenhouse operator on Monday and let you know!

So, the plant guru at GH says that this banana has been in the greenhouse for 10 years! The variety is lost to the ages. But this is the second time in his memory that it’s produced fruit! If anyone knows more, please leave a comment!
