The Private Life of Plants
I was in the office yesterday, and Luc mentioned he was reading a book called The Secret Life of Plants. And it made me recall watching a spectacular video called the Private Life of Plants. It’s a massive documentary by David Attenbourough, that uses time lapse footage to show how plants are just as aggressive as animals. This clip is 40 minutes long, but my most favorite part is the bramble, which appears at about minute 4. Click here to go to the Google Video page.

The Documentary is great, although I was a little annoyed by his capitalistic analogies.
The reason I’m commenting is to recomend the book! The Secret Life of Plants – Thompkins and Byrd. I found the follow-up book Secrets of the Soil, to be even better.
