Koch Hydroponics is the only hydro store in Northern Indiana. Don’t let the small storefront fool you, they have tons of hydro gear in stock and the owner, Mr. Koch, is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Mr. Koch started in hydroponics, during the 1970s, as a hobby. Information during that time was sporadic and often hard to come by, but Mr. Koch was able to find all he needed to turn his hobby into something more. His love of indoor gardening led him to open up his own shop with his wife, Shar. He takes time with every customer that comes in the door to help them find the information and supplies they need.

really nice people. good deals, good selection of equipment and supplies. it’s small but I could spend hours just looking at all the inventory they have. it’s like the radio shack for hydro. i just love this local business.

is a lot bigger and has online ordering.

Mr. Koch died last month. I am glad I got to know him and his passion before he passed.
