Just thought I'd add, I love the nutes. I know that you guys (meaning GH) say not to worry about pH, but I started out in hydro and can't help it. I found a nice organic fix though. I now bubble them w/ a teensy amount of endo-ecto/mychorrizae starter (I buy mine locally but anything organic w/ active mychorrizae should do) for just over 24 hours. I've noticed there is a real sweet spot with the micro-herd raising the pH over time. Usually right around 26-28 hours, I see a nice head of foam build up, and I know it's "brewed". My plants LOVE the nutes this way, and I'm happy b/c the pH is manageable now w/o chemicals or fear of putting something acidic on young cuttings. Great product! Love how the additives in the "GO" box mesh w/ the system overall.

Ok a update I have since stopped PHing since posting and PHd my soil it was 6.5 around perfect and those signs have disappeared. I think it was because I ws phing in the beginning with a liquid solution. Thanks GH for a great product. Also trying out RapidStart. But i have a question about that. Would it suite organics to use sub-b and m instead of the rapidstart or safe to use both?

Um, I'm guessing I already know the answer, but nowhere on the chart does it mention if these amounts are per gallon, per liter, or what. I'm guessing per gallon, as it's a US company. Still, that could have been a little clearer.
So I've innoculated with a mychorrizae strain on coco coir, and already made the mistake of correcting PH. I didn't use much though, so I think the critter population in there will survive. Good thing I read this here. I would appreciate if they would clarify the ratios on feeding tho. Thanks!

I've been using the GO line for about a month and loving it. To add to the ph discussion I have watered without changing the PH and there where signs of slight PH lock. When PH'd with baking soda and lime for up and down respectively and Earth Juice natural up and down and those signs have disappeared. I'm using soil btw.

When using the GO box should I be watering (just water, no nutes) between every feeding?

Hello,
I wouldn't ph the nutrient solution. The G.O. is acidic, but that all changes in the root zone once the microbes in the soil start to digest it. You may want to top dress the medium with some oyster shell lime. The fact that you already added lime to the mix should help as well. Get a soil ph test kit if you want to know what the ph is like in the root zone.

I have a question. I'm growing in Pro Mix Bx. Its 75% Spag Peat Moss with 25% combined Vermiculite, perilite, myocorse and lime. Im also using The GO line.
My question is with using a soiless median(Pro Mix) which has a base ph of around 4.5-5 due to the peat moss, should i be phing the nutes? I have done both and still seem to show micro deficiencies.
I have always done hydro using non organic chemicals. So i lack experience in organics and non hydro soiless growing medians.

Yes, you do not want to adjust the ph with a liquid ph adjuster. If you want, you can add some oyster shell lime to the mix or scratch it in to the top of the soil and water it in. This will increase the alkalinity slowly and add some slow release calcium.
Thank you,

What if I'm using an acidic soilles such as Sunshine Mix #4 (Peat Moss) can I still get away without using PH up?

Hello growers, I have been using GO for over a year with great results. I have been experimenting with my res tank and I was wondering if the other non organic ingredients need the water ph'd. I add Si and super thrieve to every watering. Can I add these to the res and it be available to the plant. Would it be better to hand water the si and super thrieve ph'd? I have not ph'd my water for a long time and the run off is around 6.8, but my res tank is around 8. I think its magic, I enjoy not worring about my ph. After a few learning curves I wouldn't grow any other way. The fruits are flavorful.
