My First CSA Box of the Year
I believe that the promotion of hydroponics is directly related to changing the agricultural system we use to get our food. And one way that I support that change is by subscribing to a CSA. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and it means that people get together and pay for the yield of a farm directly. Each week my farm sends me one box of amazing fresh fruits and vegetables. They were all picked just this morning. My first box of the season includes: potatoes, onions, cilantro, basil, red leaf lettuce, brocolli, purple carrots, greens and peaches.

That looks absolutely lovely! We thought about joining a community like that over here, but then found our allotment garden, which delivers half of our vegetables needs right at this time of the year and will hopefully deliver all of our needs for at least 3 month of the year. That would be nice.
