The Sunflowers are Happening!
Remember these guys? I love how they look with the petals half open. And there is just something special about that particular shade of yellow.

We planted some random sunflower seeds directly in our garden, but they seem not to have liked it, none showed up this year. Next year we will give them some time in small pots again. No garden shall be without sunflowers! As a substitute we will have the flowers of Jerusalem artichoke, which we introduced this year.
