The flora-nova series is such an excellent product line. I use it for hydroponic strawberries, tomatoes and just about everything else. It’s a great way to get others into hydro too! It’s a no brainer and it gives excellent results. I love the GH Three part, so when you start to advance you can still use GH!

I like General Hydroponics because they make affordable products that you can trust, in an industry full of over-priced snake oils!

General Hydroponics has been “THE” nutrient lineup that has allowed our family to thrive in the local area because of the quantity and quality of our end products, all thanks to General Hydroponics.
Many companies claim to be the best. After extensive use of more expensive nutrients (up to 400% more expensive in some cases!), the end results simply did not justify the cost for these other brand names.
G.H. is the most widely used for a reason, not just because is it one of the less expensive lineups, but because of the amazing results acheived by it.

Awesome, been waiting for an organic nutrient from a company with a long history of superior products to back it up. I’ve been a FloraNova user for years and it’s never failed me. I’ve turned a lot of other people onto it as well and they have been amazed. It’s too easy not to use. I’m an avid user of several other of your products as well and always been happy with the value and performence. No outlandish marketing gimicks or promises, just results.
It is more crucial now more than ever to start thinking about how we grow our food. From water conservation to nutrients and pesticides, we need to start thinking long term. Many people rely on salt based nutrients for its ease of use, myself included. Now that there is an organic alternative from a company that has always supplied a great product at a resonable price I can see true change comming to my garden and piece of mind to my head.

General hydro is bar none the best nutrients. I’ve used them for years, always pH stable. I’ve used the Flora series for years.
I had an issue with there Maxi Grow(hygroscopic) series gelling up after a few years on the shelf. I emailed them about it and they shipped me a replacement no questions asked. Awesome company, customer service, legendary products. I’m happy to see an organic line.

I’ve used different line of nutrients and seedling/clone propagators and GH products have been the best because they are affordable and work. I use Rapid Rooters for clones and they take root in 5 days. AzaMax to control my whitefly and fungus gnat problem (though the fungus gnats continue to thrive, I am still working on an effective dose of azamax to 24 oz. of water), Flora Micro, Flora Bloom, Floralicious Grow and Liquid Kool Bloom for my plants vegetation and bloom phase. No other nutrients I’ve tried can beat this line up as far as end quality of product, and the nutrient’s affordability. I hope GH stays around for many years to come.

I started growing hydroponically in 1997 and started with GH nutrients. Over the years I admit that I fell for those “magic bullet” advertising by other companies only to find out that the “magic bullet” had been left out of the bottle I bought. Of course, each time I went back to the GH product line. Where is the “magic bullet” advertising with GH? They don’t need any it’s in the final results my yield. Customer service has NEVER been an issue. My emails have almost always been answered by the following day. Telephone calls for technical information have always resulted in sincere time being given to find what I was doing wrong and what I needed to do to correct it. Find THAT in the other guys. How do I determine what “love” is for a product and company that works so well? Very simple, I continue to buy it. The bottom line is this; I can be a horse’s rear end when it comes to products and if GH nutrients didn’t work so well you can be well assured that I would not be a continuing customer for 12 years. The Flora Series are great and the Nova series is truly THE BOMB. General Hydroponics, to me, employs the KISS system to their products. In other words, for maximum yields just KISS it, embrace it and enjoy the growth, it’s going to happen.
As for the new organic product line, my veggies have an uncontrollable drooling issue. OH WAIT…that’s me. My bad (BUCKET PLEASE!!).
Comment from Kevin T
Time June 25, 2009 at 8:51 am
Honestly I have used other products in the past, but I’ve come full circle back to GH. I have found that all-in-all, the Nova is hard to beat. The yield increase seems to be to substantial on my fruits and vegetables, not to mention flavor and aroma increases dramatically. If the new series is better, I’m all for it, but I would have to see it to believe it! GH is hands down the only line of Ferts and Nutes I will ever use.

I was introduced to general hydroponics by a friend when I was having difficulty germinating in rockwool cubes. Rapid Rooters were the prescription, and since then I have experienced nearly 100% germination results. From there I tried nearly every product in the GH line (it’s the only brand I’ve had special ordered from my local hydro store). I’ve been working on a project to hopefully bring hydroponic growing to my parents retirement community, because there is a waiting list to even get a small square of land outside, and some people who would love to garden cannot due to the Texas heat, and various physical limitations. I encountered a roadblock when I learned that the sanctioned club only allowed “organic gardening”. Those plans were shelved after searching for an affordable, reliable line of products that I could easily obtain to introduce to the garden. Thank you a million times over GH, I haven’t experienced this amount of excitement since…well ever. You continue to be the industry leader in support, quality, price, and most importantly time tested results. These products will bring a lot of joy to so many people. General hydroponics…just what the doctor prescribed.

Ahhhhh, General Organics….
Only took you folks how many years to go organic? And your in the organic farming mecha of west sonoma county…lol
Just in time too, I’ve been using BioBIzz for a really long time, and after you stop importing their lineup you reproduce it with your name on it…or did you use different ingredients to derive general organics from? Anyways, I can’t complain about any of your products as they work really well and are the best value price out there. Just gotta ask, why you took so long to put out an omri listed fully organic(vegan) nute for so, so long…AND if it kicks BIoBIzz butt, I’m buying a 5gallon of each container each month for my fresh veggies!!

If you really are a champion of the organic movement, I hope aren’t trying to be discouraging. General Hydroponics has farmed organically for years, and, yes, we did take our time getting something to the market. Our research into organics began long before our relationship with BioBizz, and we worked earnestly to create a unique formula that would satisfy growers. This line is the beginning, and it has room to grow, no doubt. And I hope that you give it a try.

I love the GH rare earth, the florablend, the rapid rooters, affiliated companies that they have distributed products for like pH testers liquid (phenolthalein solution) or the electronic testers and biobizz. I also really liked the diamond nectar berry flavor. I bought a great deal of the ph down and I am eager to see a difference in terms of quality. I called GH and asked them about their organic line and they told me about it now I hear it’s released

I was a die hard House and Garden user with the exception of ph up and down. Well I can say, I have never had the results with any line as I have had with your products everything was amazing! I had a increase in yeild with color and flavor that could not be beat! I will only use your products from now on thank you! My friends and I have used products lines from advanced nutrients, to botanicare, to house and garden, canna and more, but I noticed the GH always looks and tastes the best out of the bunch. It’s funny because my friends were spending thousands $$$ when GH is the most affordable and easiest to use. So when I heard about the General organics I rushed to buy some, but unfortunately my local hydro stores didn’t even know about the new line. I made sure that they will be placing a big order for the General Orgnaics! Looking forward to use the new line… -dedicated General Hydro grower.

On one they were 5″ diameter x 14-18″ long. Amazing!! The yield was 60% higher than any in the last 5 years. I would love to try this new GH product line on my current crop.
