I don't know everything that goes into that product line, but it is very unlikely that there would be any problems running Floralicious Plus. The concentration and broad spectrum of benefits from Floralicious Plus will enhance any garden. As far as replacing another product with Floralicious Plus, I can only really speak to the benefits of Floralicious Plus, it does contain amino acids and additional amino products may be redundant, but I don't know the other products well enough to say for sure.

I currently run the complete House and Garden line and was wondering if Floralicious Plus would be alright to run with their complete line without complications? I have heard very good things about this product and am going to stop using their Amino Treatment which seems to be a similar product. Do you guys believe this could be a suitable replacement?

We do not, to my knowledge, have any products that utilize volcanic ash. Rare Earth contains organic rare earth minerals derived from ancient seabeds, that's the closest product to what you are looking for that I can think of.

Hi Eric,

Sorry for the delay in answering your questions! With the launch of our new website, all our techs have been occupied. We do try to answer blog comments in a timely fashion. Thanks for your questions. I think we can answer them all. Here we go:

Yes, it's safe to use a low NPK tea as a flush. Our General Organics nutrients are ideal for use with organic microbiology, which is what most homemade teas consist of, most of the GO line will actually enhance microbial growth by providing an additional food source! Floralicious Plus is ideal for use in compost teas as it provides a food source for the microbes as well as containing a small amount of microbiology. Things to add to a tea would be additional food sources, organic materials, carbs and sugars, as well as additional microbiology. My personal favorite tea combo with the Floralicious Plus is our Alaskan humus product, Ancient Forest, which is alive and rich with organic microbiology. Other products to consider would be the BioWeed, BioMarine, Diamond Black and Subculture. There is so much variety to the ingredients in Floralicious Plus that it really isn't redundant with anything. Floralicious Plus and Bio Bud, despite some similar ingredients are quite different and serve different purposes. I don't know if there is such a thing as too many amino acids but if our products are used correctly and according to the recommendations I sincerely doubt you will run into any problems.

I hope that answers your questions. Thanks!

That's awful news about the Hygrozyme. It makes me want to stick with Humboldt Honey since it has volcanic ash (trace amounts of a huge variety of minerals). Does GH or GO make a product with volcanic ash to complement the F+?

I have been using Floralicious plus as part of my feedings and have loved it. I AM attempting to revamp my feedings to incorporate the G.O. line so as to save time on the volume I work with. From above, it sounds like using an AACT as a supplement to that line is a definite GO (no pun intended). Is it safe to use a low NPK tea as my flush?

Also, I have been using a variety of other ingredients to try some new tea blends and have been real hit and miss. Perhaps you can tell me what kind of products work best with Floralicious Plus in such a tea.

If you don't mind, one more quickie - are products like F+ and Biobud redundant? Is there such a thing as TOO many aminos and such?

Hi Asil,

Sure, you can use Liquid Kool Bloom along with the other products you mentioned. However, in the last two to three weeks prior to harvest (minus one week for flush prior to harvest) you should stop using Liquid Kool Bloom and switch to the dry Kool Bloom. At that point you may not need to use the Dynabloom either. Thanks!

Hi Corey. Glad you are getting into hydroponics. Welcome! To answer your questions: you can use Floralicious Plus from start to finish. However, some people prefer to switch to the Floralicious Bloom about half way through the flowering stage because it has less nitrogen. Yes, you can make the switch to Flora Nova Bloom as soon as you go into a 12/12 light cycle. Here is the pdf of our new catalog, which has our most up to date feeding schedules in it: http://generalhydroponics.com/site/index.php/resources/product_catalog/
Also, you don’t mention which system you are using but you can find pdfs for all of our systems here: http://generalhydroponics.com/site/index.php/resources/instructions/
Also, just an FYI: It sometimes takes us a day or two to respond to comments and most of us don’t work over the weekend. But we do always respond so keep those questions coming! Thanks! VV

I am new to the hydro grow game inherited a system from a relative. Has floranova grow, floranova bloom, and floralicious plus...kinda understand floralicious easy to figure out but can I use it in the first stage of growth as well as bloom and fruit stage. Also sorry to ask so many questions but wanna learn as much as I can about product and got no instructions with this system. When exactly do I switch the floranova bloom as soon as I switch to 12/12 light cycle? Also should I flush between the two products or just at the end and what do I use. Should I add to the floranova blends or are they enough on their own. Again thank u for ur time reading this and if u reply

Hi "Man with Tool". Thanks for the great question. The enzymes in Hygrozyme do damage the fungal hyphae in Great White. But, I know a lot of people like Hygrozyme and use it with many other products. Try using Alaska Humus to make tea or Flora Blend instead of Hygrozyme. The biology (bacteria) create the same enzymes that are in Hygrozyme but in much lower concentrations so it does not damage the beneficial fungus.
