Day one with the Aerogarden
Aerogarden sent us a setup to check out, and today our sales rep Ivan set it up in the office kitchen. I posted about the Aerogarden a while back, with some links to recipes using General Hydroponics nutrients. You better believe we are going to modify this baby to do our bidding. But first, we are going to grow it out with the Aerogarden brand seeds and food tablets, as a control. Here’s a shot of day 1:

Definitely! Yes, what are you growing?
I’ll be very interested to hear what you think of the AG nutrient tabs, and your recommendations re liquid nutrients. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the hardware.

AG’s are a neat little toy. I run mine for salads using Flora Nova nutes.
My only complaint is the size of the reservoir. 2 lettuce plants can suck it down in a day.

I’m looking forward to this, it will be good to see what feeding schedule your adopt.
We have been using the GH nutrients for sometime on our site (the one you mentioned), the results have been very impressive.
All the best for your grow.

Hi Bruce, Ginger, Red, and Peat! Love the thread that you guys have going at aerogardenmastery.com. We’ve got the herb seeds going, and so far basil and thyme are in the lead! Cheers!

Hello Tiger Lilly, glad you like the site ![]()
You should pop in and put some grow logs up, it would be great to have your input.

Great! you’re going to love it once you understand its limitations. A little tweaking and GH nutrients make them super growing machines. Check out the site you mentioned before for lots more info, grow logs and mods.
It’s amazing what you can do with AeroGardens. What seed mix are you using?
