Mycoremediation

This is a fascinating video where famous mycologist Paul Stamets basically lays out his plan to use mushrooms to save the world. He even promotes their usefulness as a national security solution. This is a brief presentation that he gives at the world famous TED Talks (Technology, Entertainment and Design).

After watching the video, here’s what the founder of General Hydroponics, Lawrence Brooke, had to say, “Sub-Culture M” is a collection of carefully selected spores of plant-beneficial fungi. FloraBlend is a by-product of the lifecycle of beneficial fungi as well as plant symbiotic bacillus.  We are putting an old growth forest into the bottle for your plants.”

Check out TED here.

I got it in a sampler and was skeptical of it initially. After using it in coco coir with hand-watered Flora Nova nutrients, I am hooked. My tomatoes and peppers are more robust and aren’t as susceptible to environmental changes.
