James! Thanks for writing, your comment has inspired me to write a post on our entire feed program tomorrow. And we will post about Dry Kool Bloom. I’ll have someone on our sales team write to you about your question, too! Cheers, Thanks!

I am writing to say how much I like GH products. Every product I have tried has worked as promised. From the beginner to the expert GH has the product for you. From Nutrients to Hydroponic Unit’s and everything in between. I am excited by the new organic Bio line. I want to switch to organic growing and GH is a name I can trust. I hope to win one of the Bio sample packs.

I would like some feed back on the flora nova series. I have been using them for about a month and have noticed I need to drastically reduce the amounts of nutrients I use. I have been putting about a quarter of the amount it calls for on the chart. Feel free to email me any feed back at jqman815@hotmail.com

After using many hydroponics nutrients from all manufacturers, I keep coming back to GH. We grow blueberry plants, from clones… we have 7 different cultivars, and 231 plants in the ground.
Last year I cloned 141 of the 7 different cultivars, and lost 2. I just tried to purchase a product that I used for these new starts (sweet leaf and Carboload) and it seems that the suppliers are dropping the products… sooooo I bought some FloraNectar…after reading of it, and it seems to have the same NPK numbers and other items in Sweet Leaf. BUTTTT i cannot seem to find a replacement for the carboload I used. We are wanting to take 141 more cuttings off of our Bluberry plants this year, along w/ 141 Azaleas for a living fence/dust collector from the dirt road we live on . HA HA
Can anyone help me?

OOPS…forgot to mention of the watering regime i do before taking the cuttings, thus the carboload floraNectar feeding for 5 days prior ot taking the cuttings

You should totally try BioRoot! That’s our new organic rooting solution. You will love it. FloraNectar, which you are already using, is our comparable carb product. Sweet Leaf and Carboload together seems redundant to us. I’d say BioRoot and Nectar will make your plants very happy.

I must admit, the CarboLoad and SweetLeaf worked fine, and it did take me 3.5 – 4 months to get these blueberry slips to root, and the same goes for the Azaleas from what I have read. We are doing a total of 282 plants, and waiting 4 months on this project – to make it happen, hopefully all will be fine – I do get antsy on undtried items
But I put in the time and effort to see where it leads with your product.

gday tigerlily:
Does GH get into formulas for growing veggies which are also perenntials. I just started 28 more pepper plants *jalepenos* in a ebb n flow system, using the seedling formula and had planned on switching out to FloraMato in about 4 weeks. I used Floramato on the Last tray of 28 Jalepenos and stuffed them all !! The Poppers are GREAT ! but a bit on the small side, not quite sure why yet, but working on it. Grew in our heated glasshouse this winter. Any help w/ a plant spacific formula for growing of peppers, tomatos, melons – would be a great help

What’s up Sequoia! How’s it going? I am stoked that you are running a second huge tray of peppers! Nice! I talked to Nancy, our Customer Service Rep Supervisor, about because she grows jalapenos too! She says they do need a boost, and that will help with flavor and size. With FloraMato, Nancy recommends Dry Kool Bloom to give them a powerful extra burst. If you would like, you can call into the office, and she can talk to you about your specific setup and give you personalized program. The toll free number is 1-800-374-9376. Good luck, and Cheers!

Gday again tigerlily
sense the veggies are annuals, can i follow a regime of your feeding sched. i see on your web. Do ya think i need to go into a transistion stage with the new tray of peppers? and then to bloom and agreesive bloom? I have used flroamato many times, and i am seeing a huge amount of residue in my botanicare trays which WONT come out, even let it soak in Flora Kleen for 2 weeks, to no avail, and then let the tray set full of water with bleach and dish soap in it, still wont come off … thus the reason for wanting to use the liquid fora series and follow the regime on your web for nutrients—i have placed your floramato in 180 F degree water, and the particals still wont desolve…

I placed the peppers in a transition stage for 7 days, and will go to bllom @ that time, approx height of the peppers are 12-15 inchs w/ many blossoms and buds on them
Will keep you posted on the ” learn by doing process “, sure need a job w/ GenHydro cause I love this stuff LEARNING CURVES ARE GREAT
HA HA HA but @ 65 I shall pass
but would be open for consultation..heheeh-just kidding

Hi Sequoia! First, transition stage is always good! Second, for the residue in the bottom of your trays, is it a white deposit? If it is, I’d suggest soaking your trays with a solution of plain white vinegar and water. FloraKleen is designed to be a plant safe product, it’s effective, but gentle. The deposits at the bottom of your tray will need a more aggressive treatment, and vinegar should do the trick.

Hi again tigerlily. I am about to start a tray of tomatos. I aquired this super nice staniless steel stand from the hospital (they were thowing it out)I will be using FloraMato and I am courious to know if the tomatoes will need a boost of KoolBloom Dry as the Peppers did, or will the Floramato be enough?

gday tigerlily:
i am thinking of using the vinigar on the expanded clay rock, and flushing well with clear water to get the white or salts off of them, do you think this will work and not harm plants when crank up new grows this winter? I would like to do this in my holding tanks, and then flush w/ bleach and final of water letting it circulate for a week or so to sorta sterlize of pump/tank/tray/grorox, what do you think? Any dangers to watch out for?

MC—- you may want to check the levels of your tap water to see what the levels are and add that to what GH says levels should be using Reverse Osmosis water

Hi,Last year I had a go at growing tomatoes in guttering. Just a pump pumping water around and back into bucket. All I used was water from my butt and miricle gro.It was the best year I ever had,I had to give them away. But I put the 4 in plant pots onto the base of the guttering and I got a build up of water.Should I keep the pots just above the water and water abit from the top until the roots go into the water.Bob.
